CDL 103 - Practical Driver Training Principles & Application I CDL 103 - Practical Driver Training Principles & Application I 2 Credit(s) This course provides comprehensive training on pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying safety concerns, and meeting the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) criteria for passing the pre-trip portion of the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam. The course introduces behind-the-wheel activities and maneuvers necessary to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License. Participants will learn to shift gears safely and properly, and develop the skills needed to control their vehicle in and out of traffic and around facilities with similar equipment. Ready participants will also begin maneuvering on public roadways. Students must obtain their Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) to enroll in this course.
