BIO 246 - Microbiology BIO 246 - Microbiology 4 Credit(s) Basic concepts of microbiology including metabolism, genetics, and inhibition of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Emphasis on human pathogens, infection, resistance, and immunity. Laboratory exercises reinforce lecture concepts and teach fundamental skills in microscopy, aseptic technique, isolation, and identification of microorganisms.
