BIO 102 - Introduction to Biotechnology ** [ Click Here for Cert Information ] BIO 102 - Introduction to Biotechnology ** 3 Credit(s) Explores careers in biotechnology and biomanufacturing while developing the basic laboratory skills necessary to enter the field. Topics and techniques include safety and hazard assessment, laboratory math, quality control, standard operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), documentation, and collection of data. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized microcredentials through the Bioscience Core Skills Institute (BCSI) during this course and will learn to build a resume for future employment in the field.
