AGR 170 - Plant Science AGR 170 - Plant Science 4 Credit(s) This course explores the fundamental aspects of plant science and physiology, with a focus on food crops, ornamental plants, and sustainable agriculture. Students will gain an understanding of plant morphology, physiology, propagation, and breeding techniques. The course also covers the identification and use of major U.S. crop plants for food, feed, fuel, and fiber, and evaluates agricultural systems from an agroecological perspective to promote sustainability and plant health.
