Credit Hours: 3 MOTR Equivalent: MOTR RELG 100 World Religion, Humanities and Fine Arts Prerequisite: ENGL 070 with a grade of C or higher or equivalent placement scores. An introduction to a wide variety of the world’s living religions as both beliefs and practices, and an analysis of the historical cultural value systems underpinning their various divergent or overlapping value systems. Religions reviewed include Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam and to a lesser extent Jainism, Sikhism, Confucianism, Daoism, and Shinto. Offered Fall and Spring.
