NURS 119 — Allied Health Pharmacology

Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: Acceptance to Year One of the Nursing (PN) program. Basic pharmacologic, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic principles for the most common drug classifications and specific select drugs will be explored using evidence-based practices. Emphasis on patient safety needs are incorporated through individualized teaching related to the most common drug classifications. Offered Fall and Spring.
