Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisites: NET 101 and NET 106 with grades of C or higher. Course will cover the functions, features and configuration of a firewall as applied in a network. Covers setup, management, traffic filtering, and virtual private networks (VPNs). Students will configure and implement firewalls to protect the network from external threats. Hands on coursework is included in the course. Offered Spring only.
