MEA 112 — Medical Assisting Clinical Procedures
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Medical Assisting program. This course is part of the MEA program. Students abide by the admission requirements for the program. Course includes infection control, patient screening, general/physical examination, medication administration, vision and auditory testing and procedures, office emergencies, patient education, alternative health care/community resources, communication strategies, and adaptations. Furthermore, students will achieve 100 percent of designated MAERB core competencies in the course. Students must maintain a B or higher to successfully pass the class.
