MEA 103 — Exploration of the Human Body
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Medical Assisting program. This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding and application of the anatomical and physiological principles of the human body. It serves as a fundamental exploration of the intricate organization and operation of all human body systems, offering insight into how various systems work together to sustain life and maintain homeostasis. This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications, allowing students to gain a deep appreciation of the functionality of the human body and its relevance to health sciences and medicine. Students will develop a foundation for further studies in biology and related fields. Students must pass this course with a C or higher.
