IEM 126 — Industrial Safety
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: None. Comprehensive study of requirements and programs of 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910. Application of safe work practices to industrial maintenance and manufacturing, including machine guarding, confined space, lockout/tagout, hazardous communication, electrical and fire safety, personal protective equipment, and more. Additional topics selected based on student interest and industry emphasis. Offered Fall and Spring.
