HIT 220 — Health Information Management
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisites: BSMT 108 and HIT 100 with grades of C or higher. Course covers concepts of management as it applies to the health information management profession. Course will introduce management policies as they relate to the delivery of health care; accounting methodologies, policies and practices that support an ethical and culturally diverse workforce; managing and leading during organizational change; and process improvement. Offered Spring only.
