EDT 175 — EDT Internship
Credit Hours: 4 Prerequisites: EDT 115 with a grade of C or higher and consent of program coordinator. Course offers a cooperative work experience within an industry setting for Engineering Design Technology students. Students work under the supervision of an approved professional or specialist in the engineering design field. The instructor is a coordinator between the student and the employer and monitors the internship. A minimum of 160 work (clock) hours on the job site is required for successful completion of the course. Students will submit progress reports and a final report Course Descriptions documenting the work experience. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer.
