ECD 125 — Introduction to Special Individuals and Sensory
Integration Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisites: EDUC 108 and the successful completion of an approved background screening. Presents an introduction to characteristics of exceptional individuals and educational history and theories with exceptional individuals, especially children. Study will include effects of disability on adjustment to home, school, community, and on families of young children. Includes an overview of federal and state systems of support for children with special needs. Offered Fall only.
