DH 120 — Dental Biomaterials with Lab
Credit Hours: 2 Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Dental Hygiene program. Course will introduce the purpose, chemistry, procedure techniques, dental safety, and patient education of biomaterials. Procedures include personal mouth protection devices, placing a rubber dam, placing sealants, study models, polishing a restoration, impressions, periodontal dressing, and removing sutures. Offered Spring only. (1 lecture, 1 lab)
