Credit Hours: 1 Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Dental Hygiene program. Course provides the student with knowledge of professional development, ethics, and jurisprudence as related to clinical practice. Topics presented include conflict management, state dental laws and legal liabilities, professional conduct, dental hygiene political involvement, and professional organizational roles for dental hygiene professionals.
