CNST 148 — Construction Codes and Law

Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: None. Overview of legal requirements related to the design and execution of construction projects. The International Building Code is studied, and upon completion of the course, the student will be capable of navigating it and many other similar reference manuals. Other legal aspects of the construction industry are discussed including, but not limited to, contract law as well as liability issues. Offered Fall only.
