CNST 106 — Construction Estimation
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: None. Examines the methods used in cost estimating in the construction industry. Skills such as quantity take off, measurement, quote and bid solicitation, etc., are developed, as well as discussion of strategy involved in bid formulation and submissions. Computerized estimating techniques are explored, as well as manual methods. Course will require completion of a cost estimate for residential, commercial, industrial, or heavy construction projects.
