CJ 118 — Criminal Justice Communications
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: None. Provides direction and guidance for students seeking entry level careers in law enforcement and corrections with additional examination of written and verbal communications. Provides instruction concerning the reporting of factual information in an accurate and proper format. In addition to reinforcing basic writing tools, course will stress the components of typical police writing formats. Topics such as interviewing and interrogation techniques and courtroom testimony will also be covered. Offered Fall and Spring.
