BHS 260 — Family and Youth Strategies

Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisites: BHS 200 with a grade of B or higher and acceptance to the Behavioral Health Support program. This course will examine family roles and dynamics and explore dysfunction within the family unit. Students will discuss strategies and interventions for working with family and youth along with preventative practices. During the course, students will have the opportunity to explore the different roles of behavioral support professionals in the community. Offered Spring only.
