BHS 250 — Chronic Health Support
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisites: BHS 200 with a grade of B or higher and acceptance to the Behavioral Health Support program. This course presents the pathophysiology and treatment of chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and other common disease. Unique patient groups in relation to specific disability, disease, and/or restrictive issues are identified as well as typical medication and treatment protocols. Offered Spring only.
