Occupational Therapy Assistant (AAS)
An associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant prepares students to help individuals regain independence after illness, injury, or developmental challenges by supporting daily living activities under a licensed therapist’s supervision. Graduates are eligible to take a national certification exam (NBCOT) to become Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), with most states also requiring licensure based on exam results.
