MLT 130 — Urinalysis and Immunology 4 3 3

This course and all MLT courses are designed to prepare the student for MLT 240 and MLT 250. Topics covered in this course are an in -depth coverage of the biochemistry and analysis involved in the production of urine and body fluids as they relate to heal th and disease; and an introduction to basic genetics and the nature of the immune system, with emphasis on constituents that comprise serum- mediated immunity. Knowledge of basic laboratory principles and procedures are studied. Prerequisite: Completion of /or enrollment in MLT 120. Code Course Name Credit Lecture Lab
