Designed to expose early childhood education personnel to parent involvement strategies and community agencies, as they relate to the goals of early childhood education programs from birth through age eight (school -age). A grade of C or above must be earned for teacher certification. In accordance with Illinois State Board of Education certification rules, all candidates seeking teacher certification are required by Spoon River College to obtain a grade of C or better in all directed general education cours es, all core courses, and all courses in the option.
