To explore the growth and development of the individual from conception through adulthood with principal focus on methods of studying children and adolescents and their behavior in different educational settings. A minimum of twenty clock hours of supervis ed clinical experiences will be required. A grade of C or above must be earned for teacher certification. In accordance with Illinois State Board of Education certification rules, all candidates seeking teacher certification are required by Spoon River College to obtain a grade of “C” or better in all directed general education courses, all core courses, and all courses in the option.
