DTT 203 — Advanced Commercial Driver Operation
and Maintenance 3 1 4 The second course in a certificate program designed to provide individuals training in preventative maintenance, DOT safety inspections, and safe operation of commercial motor vehicles. This course provides vast hands -on instruction of commercial motor veh icle maintenance and DOT safety inspections. In -depth instruction of tire and brake maintenance will be covered. Coupling and backing of a tractor- trailer unit is also covered in this unit. Successful completion of this certificate program will provide the student with the skills necessary for employment as a Preventive Maintenance Technician within the trucking industry.
