This course is designed as an introduction to the study of drugs. It attempts to present a basic rationale for understanding current drug therapy through a variety of applications. Students will discuss each drug classification concentrating on the mechani cs of action, main therapeutic effects, clinical indications, adverse reactions, and drug interactions.
