BCN 4709C — Construction Project Management
This course serves as the first capstone experience for the BAS Construction Technology program. Students integrate knowledge and skills from prior coursework—including Advanced Estimating, Advanced Scheduling & Planning, Construction Financing, Virtual Design, and Immersive Technologies—to plan, manage, and control a comprehensive construction project. Emphasis is placed on executive-level decision-making, integrated project delivery, risk management, and team leadership. Students act as project managers overseeing a multidisciplinary simulated project from pre-construction through early execution stages. This capstone bridges applied theory and professional practice, preparing students for real-world construction management responsibilities.
