SWRK2010 — Introduction to Social Work
3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides students with an overview of the social work profession, including its historical and philosophical developments; ethical and theoretical bases; fields of practice; settings and methods; its relationship to the social welfare system(s); and as a foundation for generalist practice. Students will volunteer 30 hours in a social agency setting.
