NURS1926 — Professional Nursing Transition Clinic
1 Credit Hour(s) This course builds on the Licensed Practical Nurse’s previous clinical experiences and uses the nursing process to plan and implement nursing care to assist the adult client in meeting basic needs in a hospital environment. The student is provided opportunities to assist the adult client with adaptation to internal and external stressors while maintaining and promoting health. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
