NURS1613 — Nursing of the Childbearing Family

3 Credit Hour(s) This course focuses on the adaptation of the pregnant client and her family to internal and external stressors needed to meet basic needs. The nursing process is used to assist the pregnant client to maintain and promote health in varied clinical environments. This is a half-semester course. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.

Prerequisites: NURS1114, NURS1126, NURS1141, BIOL2010
