IPCT1320 — Quality
3 Credit Hour(s) This course s students understand customer expectations in a manufacturing system and continuous improvement methodology. It also demonstrates procedures and policies to ensure operating consistency, reduce variability in the process, reduce waste, and prevent safety incidents. Students use Quality Tools and team problem solving techniques. It is highly recommended, but not required, that students complete MATH 1630 before taking this course. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
