ENST1404 — CNC Operator - Turning
4 Credit Hour(s) This course provides comprehensive instruction and exercises on Haas lathe setup, Haas CNC lathe programming using G & M codes, the Haas lathe intuitive programming system, modern cutting tools, applications of the Machinery’s Handbook, and basic machining theory. Students will be prepared to take the NIMS Level I Performance Assessment for CNC Turning. Lab and testing fees are required. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
