EETC1313 — DC Circuits

3 Credit Hour(s) This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of direct current (DC) circuits. Emphasis is placed on the solution of circuit problems using series and parallel circuit definitions, OHM’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, and equivalent circuits. The course concludes with network analysis techniques including loop analysis, Thevenin’s theorem, and superposition. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
