CIVT1550 — Surveying Fundamentals
4 Credit Hour(s) The course covers the fundamental concepts and practices of surveying. Theory of measurements and field notes; methods of obtaining horizontal and vertical distances, angles and directions; use of levels, transits, theodolites and total stations; construction surveying, curves and volumes are covered . This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
