CITC2353 — Tactical Perimeter Defense
3 Credit Hour(s) An examination of how software and hardware can be used to provide a perimeter of defense in protecting resources, and how security is addressed in both wireless and wired networks. Topics include the use of tools such as wireless access points, proxy servers, VPNs, auditing, intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
