AUTO2010 — Automotive Engines III and Lab

4 Credit Hour(s) This course covers the purpose and function of the various fuel systems, the exhaust system, and the diverse emission control systems used on the automobile. Carburetors and fuel injection systems are discussed; emission control systems are studied in depth. The use of tools and equipment for proper diagnosis and repair is stressed. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
