4 Credit Hour(s) This course covers the fundamental operations of air conditioning and heating systems. Troubleshooting, servicing, evacuation and charging are covered. Emphasis is given to the troubleshooting and repair of electronic climate control systems. Refrigerant recovery, recycling, and handling are covered. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
