2 Credit Hour(s) This is the second of two courses needed to complete the training required for the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate for single-engine airplanes. This course covers the second phase of commercial pilot training: maneuvers and cross-country time building. It includes 33 hours of solo flight, 11 hours of dual flight instruction, and 5 hours of ground instruction and pre-/post-flight briefings with an FAA approved flight instructor. After completing Commercial Pilot Ground School, students take Commercial Flight I Practicum and Commercial Flight II Practicum to meet the requirements for the Commercial Pilot Certificate. will be done as a credit course via a stand-alone non-college FAA 141 Certified Flight School.
