BOT 1013 — INTRODUCTION TO KEYBOARDING

This course provides an introduction to keyboarding skill development using the touch system on the alphabetic keyboard. Course emphasis will be on speed and accuracy when keying documents and timed writings. Students will be required to key straight-copy material at a minimum of 35 GWAM on a five-minute timed writing with a maximum of one error per minute.
