BIO 1711 — BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH I - This course will provide hands on instruction of the
necessary skills in order to prepare students to launch a unique investigation in the area of biomedical research. This course focuses on the structural basics such as literature reviews, elements of a research proposal/publication/presentation, experimental design, analysis of data, and technical skills such as micropipetting, centrifugation, spectrophotometric analysis, polymerase chain reaction, etc.
