ENGL 273 — AFRICAN AMERICAN LITERATURE
Focuses on African American literature in various genres from the mid-eighteenth century to the present. Emphasizes the social, political, economic, historical, cultural, and aesthetic contexts that define and advance the Africana oral and literary tradition in America.
