Introduces the historical and technical aspects of film and darkroom photography with an emphasis on personal expression and visual literacy. Explores the historical, social, cultural, and personal significance of the photographic image in everyday life. Includes lectures and discussion on composition, content, light and exposure, film cameras, silver-based chemical processes, and presentation techniques. Requires an adjustable film camera.
