SPN204 — Intermediate Spanish
Spanish 204 is a continuation of Spanish 203. In Spanish 204 students willcontinue developing their communicative skills,listening, writing, speaking and reading, through continual interaction in Spanish at an intermediate-high level. Spanish 204 strengthens and consolidates students' language skills by including a general review of grammatical structures and practicing vocabulary used by native speakers in real-life situations. In this class, students will further develop, interpret, and express their ideas through written communication. By reading, watching, analyzing and discussing stories, poetry and short films from Spanish and Latin American writers and contemporary Hispanic filmmakers, students will recognize the cultural diversity of Spanish speaking people and compare it with their own.
