MUS123 — Music Appreciation
An introduction to the aural elements and structures of music through a historical survey of Western Art Music from the Middle Ages through the twentieth century. Through recordings and live performances emphasis is placed on aural perception of musical stylistic characteristics of significant works by composers of Western Art Music.This course can be used to meet the Humanities or Humanities/Fine Arts General Education requirement.
