MTH126 — Fundamentals of Statistics
A college transfer course; consult the C&CSC for more details. An introductory course designed to provide students with an understanding of reasoning involved in a statistician's approach to a wide variety of problems. This course focuses on statistical reasoning and the solving of problems using real-world data rather than on computational skills. This course is intended as a general education mathematics course, and is not intended for business or mathematics majors. Use of a graphing calculator and/or statistical software will be required.
