HUM220 — Special Topics in the Arts

A class or seminar investigating a special topic or issue in the visual and performing arts (art, music, theatre and dance). This course may be repeated once for credit. In this practical special topics class, students will investigate the training and study that may lead to a career as a voiceover artist by learning the principals and techniques of creating, reading and delivering commercial copy, news, interviews, public service announcements, special events, industrials and audio book narration as well as through experiencing the practical considerations of a recording studio environment and interacting with creative and production teams.
