EDUC17 — Substitute Teaching

This class presents professional, positive, and practical strategies which effectively meet the needs of anyone to substitute teach in today?s elementary and high school classrooms. Classroom management strategies and curriculum-based ideas presented in this class, prepare prospective substitute teachers to make valuable contributions to the education of students. The instructor draws from experiences, both as a substitute and regular (K-12) classroom teacher to share techniques which are classroom effective. Certification and licensing procedures and employment prospects are discussed as part of the class.
