Childbearing Families and Children applies nursing theory to the care of the childbearing family and children. This is a course that incorporates communication, collaboration, caring, and clinical reasoning/nursing judgment necessary for safe, patient-centered nursing care to women, the newborn, the family, and children. Prerequisites: BIO-186, ADN-152, ADN-252, PSY-211
