FIRT 2359 - Fire Instructor III FIRT 2359 - Fire Instructor III (3:3:1) This advanced-level course meets the curriculum requirements of the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) for Fire Instructor III certification. A Fire Instructor III is a person who, in addition to meeting Instructor II qualifications, has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to develop comprehensive training curriculum and programs for use by single or multiple organizations; conduct organization needs analysis; design record keeping and scheduling systems; and develop training goals and implementation strategies.
