ENGL 2332 - World Literature I ENGL 2332 - World Literature I (3:3:0) This course is a survey of world literature from the ancient world through the sixteenth century, which ed to shape modern literature, language, and culture. Students will study works of prose, poetry, drama, and fiction in relation to their historical and cultural contexts, along with the principles of literary criticism appropriate to the literature. Texts will be selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions. Semester Hours: 3
